What is Office 365?
Office 365 is software as a service. Rather than buying software to keep, simply select from one of the five plans we have available and you pay a monthly or annual subscription. Simply put, you are renting the Microsoft Office Suite and can cancel the service at any time.
Yes, you can purchase Office 2016, however it can only be installed on one computer, whereas Office 365 can be used on up to 5 devices including PCs, Macs, Android tablets, Android phones, iPad, and iPhone.

The other great thing about Office 365 is that your monthly subscription includes email with a 50GB mailbox and with E3 and E5 plans, they include unlimited inbox storage. And, when Microsoft release a new version of Office, you will be notified and given the option to update your software to the latest version. That means that you get FREE updates for all of the Office Suite applications.
With Office 365 subscription plans you get Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, and Access (Publisher and Access are available on PC only). You also get services like 1TB of online storage with OneDrive and 60 Skype minutes per month, per user for home use.
In addition, you have access to the apps listed below for online collaboration.

What is OneDrive?
OneDrive is similar to Google Drive. Basically it’s an online storage service that you can use to store documents, notes, photos, music, videos, or other types of files. You can also access your files from almost any device and share and collaborate with others. And you get a whopping 1TB of storage.
OneDrive files can be accessed offline by installing the OneDrive desktop app. The app creates a folder on your PC that automatically syncs documents between OneDrive and your computer, so you can work on your documents offline and be assured that they are always in sync.
Each active Office 365 subscription is entitled to 60 Skype minutes/month, per user; this allowance resets each month. Have a chat with anyone with a landline in over 60 countries/regions or call mobile phones in 8 countries/regions, including the United States and Canada.

Why we recommend Office 365
The great thing about Office 365 is that in my case, I had old versions of Office on my PC (2007!) and now I have 2016 which I’m pretty stoked about – and I don’t have to update my software when new versions are released, because my Office 365 subscription does it all for me. No install discs and adding registration keys. It really is easy.
