Configuring IMAP/POP on Mobile Devices

iPhone/iPad/iPod (All Generations)

1) On the main screen of the device tap Settings
2) Select Mail,Contacts,Calendars
3) Tap Add Accounts
4) Select Other
5) Select Add Mail Account
6) In the New Account section fill out the appropriate information

Name: <your name>
Address: <full email address>
Password: <password to the mailbox>
Description: <a description for the account>

Incoming Mail Server
Host Name: mail.sh5.cloudhostsite.com
User Name: full email address
Password: mailbox password

Outgoing Mail Server
Hostname:

(POP) smtp.sh5.cloudhostsite.com
(IMAP) mail.sh5.cloudhostsite.com
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank

8) Tap Next. Finished.

Android

1) On the main screen of the device tap Settings
2) Select Accounts & Sync
3) Select Add Account
4) Select Mail
5) Enter in Username (Full Email Address) and mailbox password, then select Manual Set up

Incoming Server Settings (Choose either POP or IMAP)
Email Address: Full email address
Username: Full email address
Password: mailbox password
POP server: mail.sh5.cloudhostsite.com
Security Type: SSL
Server Port: 995

6)Tap Next

Outgoing Server Settings (Uncheck Login required)
SMTP Server:

(POP) smtp.sh5.cloudhostsite.com
(IMAP) mail.sh5.cloudhostsite.com

Security Type: none
Server Port: 25

7) Tap Next. Finished.

*Note: Some Android devices have different ways to set up email. Please refer to your owner manual or contact your wireless provider for proper instructions in setting up your device.

Windows Mobile

1) Swipe left from the Home screen
2) Tap Settings, and then tap E-mail and Accounts
3) Tap Add an Account and select Other Account
4) Enter your e-mail address and password and tap Sign In Windows
5) Tap Advanced

Account name: name the account
Your name: Type in your name as you would like it to appear.
Incoming e-mail server: mail.sh5.cloudhostsite.com
Account type: Choose either POP or IMAP
User name: Full email address
Password: The password to your mailbox
Outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server:

(POP) smtp.sh5.cloudhostsite.com
(IMAP) mail.sh5.cloudhostsite.com

Tap Advanced settings and tap to select the boxes Require SSL for incoming mail.

6) Tap Sign In

Blackberry

1) From the BlackBerry home screen, click BlackBerry Setup > Set up Internet Email > Add An Email Account
2) Type your email address and password, and then click Next
3) Your BlackBerry will try to set up your email account automatically.

If your email account can’t be configured automatically, do the following:

4) Click I will provide the settings to add this email account
5) Scroll down and then click Next
6) Select Internet Service Provider Email (POP/IMAP), and then click Next
7) Type your full email address for your user name
8) Scroll down and type the name of the email server: (mail.sh5.cloudhostsite.com)
9) Click Next
10) Enter the name of the outgoing server :

(POP) smtp.sh5.cloudhostsite.com
(IMAP) mail.sh5.cloudhostsite.com

11) Click OK to complete the setup
